The creation of Casamigos is a compelling tale. Hollywood superstar George Clooney and actor Rande Gerber (the husband of Cindy Crawford), while building their new homes in Mexico, discussed their struggle to find the perfect tequila. Unsatisfied with what was on the market, both embarked together on a two-year journey to create their own original brand.

2 years and 700 recipes later, the perfect combination of flavours was concocted. Clooney and Gerber then gained a production licence and brought their amazing creation to the public. The brand was fittingly named Casamigos, which translates to "house of friends".
