Where Does Clase Azul Plata Tequila Come From?
Although Clase Azul is based in San Francisco, California, the tequila is produced in Jalisco, Mexico. Some of the finest tequila on the planet comes from the same region. It is produced at one of the highest points in the state of Jalisco which gives it a unique flavour unlike virtually any other tequila.
Between the uniqueness of the climate and the soil, Clase Azul Plata has a distinctive tequila flavour. Each of their agaves are grown for a period of 6 to 8 years.
That time frame ensures that the agaves reach their optimum point of maturation. following which the pineapples are traditionally cooked in masonry ovens for 72 hours. This happens after the honey is extracted from the agave. The fermentation process is induced by yeasts specially developed for Clase Azul.
Finally the tequila is distilled to obtain its maximum refinement and purity and then complemented with deep well water, filtered from a special five-stage process. The result? One of the smoothest and most enjoyable tequilas to ever grace your lips.
