Produced by the Herrera family, it is made at their distillery, La Estacada, in the mountain town of Mazamitla. The distillery La Estacada at 7,200 feet above sea level, surrounded by the forests of the Sierra del Tigre, benefits from pure mountain springs, fresh air, and cool temperatures, all contributing to the rich aroma of this tequila.

The tequila is crafted from the finest 8-10-year-old blue agave grows in Los Altos and the Valley of Tequila. The meticulous process includes secondary malolactic fermentation and the use of Montpelier wine yeast, adding a unique buttery note. Aged in oak casks and refined through a filtration process that removes the colour, it produces a crystal-clear liquid with a golden hue.
